I stood with my fellow New Yorkers that horrible day. I stand with them now, even though far away. What tore into us, glued us. I will never forget the horror, or the aftermath, where we all walked slower, carefully, into the only thing that could heal us: each other. I will never celebrate killing, in any form. I use this only to remember. Here’s to you NY.
